How Sample Case Files Will Be Presented
A preview of the Case Files section: anonymized scenarios that illustrate what skipped verification actually costs.

The Case Files section is being developed as a library of **anonymized scenarios**. Each entry will follow the same structure so a reader can move through them quickly.
Standard structure
- **The situation**: a short factual summary, with names and identifying details removed.
- **What was skipped**: the specific verification step that did not happen.
- **What surfaced later**: the issue that appeared after closing.
- **What it cost**: time, money, or both, in general terms.
- **What would have prevented it**: the earlier step that would have changed the outcome.
What the Case Files are not
- Not real client matters.
- Not legal opinions on any specific transaction.
- Not a substitute for independent counsel on a buyer's own situation.
The purpose of the section is pattern recognition: helping a future buyer recognize a familiar shape before it becomes their story.
