The Checklists section is being built around the phases of a typical foreign-buyer transaction. Each checklist will be short, printable, and tied to a specific moment in the journey.
Planned checklists
- **Before the first showing**: budget, timeline, advisor team, region preferences.
- **Before signing the promesa**: documents to request, money path to confirm, contingencies to insist on.
- **During due diligence**: title, lien, tax, water, HOA, permits, cadastral match.
- **Before closing**: trust permit, notario presupuesto, escritura review, wire path.
- **After closing**: registered deed, annual trustee fee calendar, predial calendar, beneficiary updates.
How each checklist will read
- One page when printed.
- Plain language, no jargon.
- Each item phrased as a yes/no question.
- A short "why this matters" note under each item.
